The available inventory of homes for sale is lower than usual. Keep an open mind about the possibilities of what a home can be. Perhaps the vision you have in mind isn’t on the market. Can you look at a slightly lower price point and with some modifications create your ideal home? Yes you can!! (And, home renovations are probably not as scary as you think.)

Be nimble and quick.

This year we are going to continue to see a competitive real estate market and if you’re not ready - you might miss out. Being prepared with a pre-approval and understanding the finance aspect of buying will help you be both nimble and quick. Take a moment to go through the necessary paperwork before you’re ready to write an offer so you understand the process, the costs, and the expectations for all parties involved. Then, having a strategy to quickly target and identify your ideal home will be key. 

2021 is not going to be a year where you’ll have a lot of time to make a decision so be like Jack. Jack be nimble, jack be quick. But, don’t worry, there’s no jumping over candlesticks!
