Who is Heather Wright the Realtor?

Recently, I was looking for a trail that had a lot of shade so we could take the dog for a walk without burning up in the sun.

A few FB friends recommended I visit Sycamore Trail which is in Johnston, just north of Des Moines and SW of Ankeny.

I thought it would be a paved trail through the trees - but instead we accidentally went hiking!

While we were exploring the area I thought it might be helpful for others that are wondering what kinds of things you can do in Des Moines.

The trail system throughout Des Moines and the suburbs is robust.

But, if you're a homebody like me, you might not know what you're missing out on!
